SEARCH STRATERIES BASICS

Firstly, I know that when we are first starting to formulate your research question, it can be useful to brainstorm keywords that are synonymous with or related to the major concepts of our topic, as well as narrower and broader terms.
Subject headings, which use a standardized vocabulary, usually give you more specific resources on your topic.
Examples of subject headings are:
Library subject headings.
Science subject headings.
Thesaurus of psychological index terms.
BOOLEAN SEARCHING
Before that, i also used many search engine to do my task; however, it was difficult for me to find the correct information or document. Until now, i have recognized that searching information also  has its own techniques. Typically, that is boolean searching which allows us tp gruop words together in an eletronic databases or enviroment such as world widw webto recieve a number of different results.
Those are boolean operators which are AND, OR, NOT. Each one has each own function.
Using AND or NOT, you can limit the search. However, when using AND, you only receive only pages which include both of your search terms, though not necessarily next to one another. Using NOT to find pages including only the first term and excluding the second term.
Using OR to expands the search, to receive pages containing either one or both of your search terms.

TRUNCATION , WILDCARD AND PHRASE SEARCHING

Using truncation, allows you to retrive multiple multiple spelling of root word or word stem such as plural or singularforms.

A wildcard is special character such as asterisk (*), question mark (?), or pound sign (#) that places one or more letters in a word.
Phrase searching is used when you use a string of words to search with.
